Policy Changes

  From the inception of Torr Na Lochs Vineyard & Winery, our vision was to provide an exceptional wine tasting experience in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Over the past two years we maintained a pet friendly facility as well as created designated areas for our smoking patrons.  However, in the last year we experienced numerous instances of aggressive dogs being brought onto the property that ultimately resulted in fighting between visiting dogs and our winery dogs.  Additionally, we have found it difficult to balance the needs of our smoking and non-smoking guests to the satisfaction of both, creating an unpleasant experience for all.  These events are highly disruptive to all of our guests’ overall experience and place additional stress on our staff as they attempt to mitigate conflict among dogs and between smokers/non-smokers, all while providing the attentive customer experience we require of them.  Therefore, after much contemplation and consideration, we are changing our policy.  Effective November 1, 2017, pets will no longer be permitted on the property and we will be a non-smoking (or vaping) facility.  We regret having to make this policy change, but it is necessary in order for us to provide the high level of wine tasting experience that is our vision.
